• Bessell "Punky" Edenfield

Springfield – A. Bessell "Punky" Edenfield, 84, passed away March 14, 2021, at Warrenton Health & Rehab.

He was retired from Stone Container Co. and was a member of Turkey Branch United Methodist Church. He had served in the Army National Guard Springfield Unit and had been a volunteer with the Springfield Fire Department. Punky was an avid car enthusiast and loved drag racing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Edenfield.

Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Kelly (Brian); son, Brian Edenfield (Brandy); grandchildren, Lindsey Kelly, Kaden Edenfield, Hailey Edenfield, and Maddux Edenfield; brother, Bennie Edenfield (Jenny); sister, Tillie Gnann; special friends, Jeff and Sandi Yawn; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 2- 3 pm Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Turkey Branch United Methodist Church.

Funeral: 3 pm Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Turkey Branch United Methodist Church.

Burial: Church Cemetery
