Agnes Carolyn Morgan Whyte, 81, of Lexington, NC, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Abbots Creek Nursing Home.

Agnes was born July 19, 1942, to the late Sumpter Morgan and Glennie Boyles Morgan in Springfield, GA.  She lived in Hopkinton, MA for 40 years and resided in Lexington, NC for the past 8 years.  Agnes was a homemaker and loved to watch Wheel of Fortune and Western shows.  She enjoyed doing puzzle books in her spare time.  Agnes also enjoyed watching her hummingbirds and loved to go out to eat with her family.

Surviving are her son, Steven Whyte and wife Lisa of Wrentham, MA; two daughters, Susan Whyte of High Point, Sandie Whyte-Conner and husband Steven of the home; a sister, Judy Browning and husband Eddie of Clyo, GA; six grandchildren, Toni Ambrogio-Magee and husband James of Dorchester, MA, Cari Ambrogio of Lexington, NC, Dustin Whyte, Dillan Whyte, Dean Whyte, Derek Whyte, all of Wrentham, MA.  Agnes will be missed by everyone who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery, 606 Early Street, Springfield, GA on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 1:00 PM.  The family will receive friends at Strickland and Sons Funeral Home, 2460 GA-21 South, Rincon, GA, prior to the service starting at 11:30 AM.   Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association P.O.
