Mrs. Aida Paez, 82, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at St. Joseph's Hospital.  She was born in Cuba to the late Albert & Martina Cabrerra.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Israel Paez, Sr.  She was a homemaker, enjoyed playing the slot machines, and loved her family.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Israel Paez, Jr. and wife, Sherry, Thomas Paez and wife, Crystal; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Welfredo Pahco, and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 6 until 8 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.

The graveside funeral and burial will be on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City.
