Eden-Mr. Alan C. "Booger" Yarbrough, 56, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Yarbrough was born in Chatham County and was preceded in death by his father, Ralph C. Yarbrough. He served his country in the Army National Guard, was employed with Otis Elevator and was a member of the IEUC Local Union #32.
Survivors include his sons, Kit and Dane Yarbrough; mother, Bernice Yarbrough; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary & Ann Yarbrough and Michael & Joan Yarbrough; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marcia & Sidney Jordan and Sue & Jim Fair; step-mother, Mary Yarbrough; step-sisters, Gail Love and Kay Love and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Powers Baptist Church Cemetery in Eden.
Remembrances may be given to the American Cancer Society, 6600 Abercorn Street, Suite 206, Savannah, GA 31405.
