Mr. Alan Vega McRea, 75, of Port Wentworth, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at his home.

He was a truck driver and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.  He enjoyed reading, listening to music, and talking to friends.  He will be remembered as always being helpful to others.

Survivors include his wife, Jaqueline Bermudez Vega; children, Claudia Quiles (Nancy Quiles), Allan Vega (deceased), Hemes Vega (Maria Vega), and Anielka Carrasquillo (Albert Carrasquillo); grandchildren, Pedro Gonzalez, Claudia Gonzalez, Alan Vega, Jianny Delgado, Jeylene Carrasquillo, and Jordan Carrasquillo; great-grandchildren, Matthew Solomon, Ruben Jesus Sanchez, and Christian Sanchez; siblings, Augusto, Telma, Reyna, Gustavo, Martha, Frutos, Ethel, and Maria Lourdes, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The viewing and visitation will be from 6-10 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the funeral home.

The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church located at 501 South Coastal Highway in Port Wentworth, GA.
