Mr. Alan Schemel, 74, of Bloomingdale, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017 at his home.
Alan was born in New Rochelle, NY and was of the Jewish faith. He was the owner/operator of Ceramic Arts. He loved his dogs as well as being a builder and collector of black powder rifles.
Survivors include his wife, Robin Schemel; children, Richard Schemel, Allison Worall, Christine Williams and Ashley Geisler; grandchildren, Taylor, Riley, Connor, Cierra, Cheyanne, and Christopher; great-grandchild, Declan, and sister, Kathie Schemel.
The visitation will be on Friday, October 27th from 1 until 2 p.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler with the memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. The family will be receiving friends after the service at their home located at 110 Bradford Drive in Bloomingdale.
