Alex Matthew Clifton
Guyton – Alex Matthew Clifton, 86, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Shadowmoss Plantation.
The Effingham County native was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Union Camp.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Ruth Clifton; children, Ruth (J.W.) Newman, Linda Clifton, Mary (Jim) Saxon; 6 grandsons; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Scandolyn and Nancy Haney; brother, Richard Clifton; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Guyton Cemetery.
Remembrances may be given to Oxton Court of Savannah, 249 Holland Drive, Savannah, GA 31419.
