Alexis Cheyenne Nestingen, 26, of Richmond Hill, Georgia, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at her home.

Alexis was born in Savannah, Georgia and was a server at Western Sizzlin in Pooler.  She was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered for having a "Big Heart" and the enjoyment it gave to her to give to others.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Patsy and James Stark.

Survivors include her son, River Brownfield; River's father, Drew Brownfield;  mother, Penny Morton; father, Robbie Nestingen; sister, Caroline Morton; brothers, Christopher McCord and Nicholas McCord; aunt, Candy McCord; uncles, Richard McCord, William Morton, and Brandon Stark, as well as lots of friends that she loved.

The service to honor Alexis' life will be on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home – WEST CHATHAM CHAPEL – located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler, Georgia.
