Obituary
Pooler – Alford Eliott Gunter, Sr., 73, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Alford retired from the U.S. Air Force and later retired as a plumber. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred E. Gunter and Rose Lewis Gunter; and sister, Carolyn Kyall.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Elton Gunter; children, Annette Carrillo, Alford E. Gunter, Jr., and Craig Sumner; brother-in-law, Richard Kyall; and several nieces and nephews.
The family is honoring Alford's wishes of cremation with no services.
