Rincon – Alfred Hubert Rahn, 83, went to be with his Lord on August 5, 2011.
He was born and raised in Springfield, GA, and was a member of the Goshen Road Baptist Church. He retired from Savannah Sugar Refinery after 39 years, was an avid Braves fan and loved watching the games on T.V. and tried not to miss a game. He enjoyed camping and playing with his two special boys, his great-grandsons, Matthew and Maddox whom he loved so much.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert L. Rahn, mother, Eula Rahn; sisters, Jeanette Morgan and Libby Hodges; and brother, Kenneth Rahn.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Rahn; 3 step-children; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery.
Remembrances may be given to Goshen Road Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 739, Rincon, GA 31326.
