Alicia Carter Pruitt, 73, of Savannah, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 18, 2021.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Raymond T. Pruitt; daughters, Angie Lanham (Steve) and Allie Young (Jason); grandsons, Steven and Jacob Lanham; brother, Kevin Carter (Arlene); nephew, Brian Carter; and many cousins and extended family.

She was a founding member of Chevis Oaks Baptist Church and a current member of Central Baptist Church.  Her love for the Lord, knowledge of the Bible, and dedication to teaching was evident in the countless lives she touched over the years as a Sunday School teacher and VBS Director.

The visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the funeral home.

All CDC and social distancing guidelines will be in place including the wearing of masks (Chatham County Mandate).

The graveside funeral and burial will be at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City.  Brother Kenny Harrelson will officiate and the Deacons of Central Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
