Guyton – Allen Hoyle Bridges, 80, passed away October 20, 2025 at his home.

The Asheville, NC native was owner/operator of Allen's Body Shop for 32 years in Candler, NC. Allen was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Asheville. He loved his animals, gardening, yardwork, but especially loved being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyle & Vista Bridges; and his siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Hope Bridges; children, Lisa Gaddy (Robbie), Janet Buckner (Mike), Karen Case (George), Tammy White (Alan), Leslie Bridges, Allison Velasquesz, Kendra Bridges, Sabastian Bridges; grandchildren, Robbie, Ryan, Chase, Cecily, Jordan, Kamryn, Shelby, Sydney, Kenzie; sister, Joan Austin; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held in North Carolina.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Compassus Hospice and Amedysis Hospice for their care during Allen's illness.
