Rincon – Allen Conrad Kessler, 90, passed away October 10, 2023 at Effingham Extended Care Center.
The Georgia native retired from Union Camp. He was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ where he was a former treasurer and song leader. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, and watching the GA Bulldogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Angus and Ethel Hinely Kessler; 13 siblings; and his wife, Mary Frances Bass Kessler.
Survivors include his son, Wayne T. Kessler (Wanda) of Burlington, NC; daughter, Janice Kessler Morris (Jackie Dean) of Rincon; grandchildren, Jared Morris, Ryan Kessler (Jamie), and Trace Kessler (Crystal); great-grandchildren, Audrey, Hazel, and Andrew Kessler; sister, Myrtle Kessler Hall; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2023 at Oak Grove Church of Christ followed by funeral services at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Rincon Cemetery.
