Allen Zeigler
Rincon – Allen Zeigler, 69, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Southeast GA Health System in Brunswick.
The Effingham County native graduated from E.C.H.S. in 1960 and was a lifelong member of the GA Salzaburger's Society. He was a member of the Rincon United Methodist Church and the John Wesley Sunday School Class. He was the co-owner of Curiosity Shoppe Jewelers and retired from Owens-Minor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Augustus Zeigler and Maud Elizabeth Coon Zeigler.
Survivors include his wife, Caroline Deloach Zeigler; daughter, Sabrina (Hank) Heller; son, Seth (Shae) Zeigler; grandchildren, Ben, Clark, and Rett Heller, Evan and Shelby Zeigler; sister, Harriet (Dillard) Helmly; brother, Ray (Jane ) Zeigler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Hill Lutheran Church Cemetery in Clyo.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to Rincon United Methodist Church Debt Retirement Fund, 107 Savannah Ave., Rincon, GA 31326.
