Obituary
Richmond Hill-Mrs. Alma M. Carpenter, 92, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2011.
Mrs. Carpenter was born in Lyons to the late Adam & Belle McNatt. She was preceded in death by her husband, B.W. Carpenter and a son, Paul Carpenter. She was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Garden City.
Survivors include her children, Scott & Ronni Carpenter and Sue & Johnny Williams; grandchildren, Brant Attaway, Keith Carpenter, Camden Carpenter and Dusty Williams; great-grandchildren, Hailee Carpenter, Evie Carpenter, Ethan Carpenter, Asher Carpenter, Kara Williams and Claire Williams and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to her caregiver Mrs. Paulene Thomas.
The graveside funeral for Mrs. Carpenter will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 315 Greenwich Road, Savannah, GA with Pastor Julie Mack officiating.
Remembrances may be given to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
