Alma Saxon Reynolds Warner, 86, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 7, 2020.
She was born on November 30, 1933, in Pulaski, GA to Porter D. Saxon and Lillian Tuten Saxon. Mrs. Warner was long time resident of Stone Mountain, GA.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Alvin ( Pam) Reynolds and Joseph ( Jennifer ) Warner; six grandchildren, Michael Najour, Ann Marie Youssef (Mina), Danielle Emanuele, Michelle Lytle (Mike), Joshua Reynolds and Katie Junior (Austen); six great-grandchildren, Kenzie Emanuele, Shane Lytle, Maddie Lytle, Davis Junior, Ann Crawford Junior, and Nelson Junior; two brothers, William "Dick" Scheider and Donald L. Saxon; and one sister, Richiedean Saxon Williams along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband James R. Warner; her parents Porter D. Saxon and Lillian Tuten Saxon; two daughters Pamela Lowery and Lennie Reynolds; six brothers, Lloyd Saxon, Lovette Saxon, Leon Saxon, Thomas C. Sweat, Stacey M. Saxon, and David Eugene Saxon; four sisters, Florrie Saxon Brantley, Floy Saxon Fountain, Grace Saxon Edenfield, and Elizabeth Saxon Deal Harn.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother as well as a devoted friend to many. She will be remembered every time her family places the Christmas stockings she made above the fireplace, uses her recipes to bake for the ones they love, sings "Little Goldie Goldfish" while rocking little ones to sleep, helps a person in need or smiles at a stranger.
A Graveside service will be held at Effingham Memorial Gardens, Springfield, GA on Saturday, March 14 th at 11:00 am with Bishop Alex Hess of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating.
