Almus Dee Eaves

Mr. Almus Dee Eaves, 73, of Eden, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at his home.

Dee will be missed by his beloved high school sweetheart, and wife of 56 years, Pat Eaves; he was a loving and aspiring father to Mitchell D. and Michelle Eaves, Kelley and Chris Brown; his cherished grandchildren, Lea, Mitchell Jr., Mirisa, Jade, Thea, Mya, Sophia, and Daxton; his great-grandson, Harrison; father, Almus Bud Eaves; brothers, Vernon and Nell Eaves, and Allen Eaves, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Dee was born in Rockmart, Georgia and was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Turner Eaves. He will be remembered for being a patriot and serving his country in the United States Navy. He retired as an Assistant Fire Chief after 23 years and 9 months from the 165th Air Lift Wing . He served his community as a fire fighter and was an inspiration to all. He was a member of Rothwell Baptist Church.

The arrangements for Dee’s celebration of his life are pending and will be announced.
