Faulkville-Mrs. Alpharine "AL" Bohannon Rushing, 81, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at her home.
Mrs. Rushing was born in Rome, GA and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eastern Star as well as the Ladies Auxillary for the Hillbilly Unit. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.H. "Dub" Rushing; her parents, James K. Bohannon & Lena Mullins Bohannon, and a brother, Jack Bohannon.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Beverly Rushing Hodges and Cheryl Rushing Knight & Jeff; son and daughter-in-law, William Kenneth Rushing & Angela; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Graveside Funeral and Burial: 2 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road.
