Alvin Elijah "Scotty" Scott

Mr. Alvin Elijah “Scotty” Scott, 77, of Ellabell GA, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026 at his home.

Scotty will be missed by his daughter, Leslie Stoddard (Thomas); grandchildren, Mallory and Kelsi; great-grandchildren, Ella, Carter, Maverick, and Benjamin; sister, Kay Dowd; brother, Ricky A. Scott; 16 nieces and nephews, including special nieces and nephews, Don Scott, Wayne Scott, Tracy Fugere, Rhonda Bailey, and Angela Thomas; a number of great-nieces and nephews, as well as a number of great-great-nieces and nephews.

Scotty was born in Metter, GA and was preceded in death by his wife, Gina Tressia Scott; son, Alvin Barry Scott; parents, Jack and Kate Scott; brothers, Charles M. Scott and James M. Parker. Scotty retired from Coastal State Prison. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping on the river with Gina, fish fry’s and spending time with family. He was a member of the Sons of Confederacy, enjoyed Civil War reenactments and western movies. He will be remembered for being stubborn, hard-headed, ornery, but a teddy bear.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The graveside funeral to honor Scotty’s life will be private
