Amanda B. Castor
Rincon- Amanda B. Castor, 92, died January 27, 2018 at The Place @ Pooler.
The Oklahoma native met her husband in Oklahoma, then moved to New York City where they pursued her husband, Harold's sculpting career. He became very successful as a sculptor and she worked as an accountant at the Green Bus Lines in Queens, NY. They moved to Georgia in 1999 due to Mr. Castor's failing health.
She was a member of the Rincon United Methodist Church, Oglesby Sunday School class and sang in the choir for many years.
She is survived by her children, Roberta Castor, Douglas Castor, and Vicki Waters (Dennis); step-son, Bill Castor; grandchildren, Ryan Waters and Holley Waters.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Thursday, February 1, 2018 in the funeral home.
Memorial Service: 11 am Friday, February 2, 2018 at Rincon United Methodist Church.
Remembrances: Rincon United Methodist Church, 107 Savannah Ave, Rincon, GA 31326.
