Amy Rene Cottingham, 55, of Savannah, GA, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 at her home.

Amy was born in Aiken, SC, and had lived here for many years where she graduated from Savannah Christian in 1987.  She was preceded in death by her father, W.A. Cottingham.  She was employed at Memorial Health University Hospital on the High Risk OB Team.  She loved all animals, especially her cat, Jellybean.  She did volunteer work with feline rescue operations.  She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and yard sales with her mom and loved the Florida Gators.  She will be missed.

Survivors include her sons, Landon Snowberger and Blake Miles; mother and step-father, Darlyn & James Lagergren of Richmond Hill; sisters, Melissa Eckles (Daniel) and Ashley Almand (Ronald); companion, Jeffrey Spivey; nieces, Anslee Price (Joshua) and Savannah Olson (Chris); nephews, Tyler Almand (Katie) and Will Eckles, as well as a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

The visitation to celebrate Amy's life will be on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
