Rincon – Angela Marie McLendon Gooding, 39, passed away June 27, 2022 at Memorial Health.

Born in Savannah, GA on June 14, 1983 she was a Gold Star Survivor after her husband, Dakotah Lee Gooding was killed in the line of duty in Balad, Iraq.  Her greatest joy were her kids and being a "CHEER MOM".

Survivors include her daughters, Trista Marie Kenny (14) and Hope Elizabeth Kenny (9); father, William Harley McLendon, III "Bill" (Phebe Reiser); mother, Kathryn Marie McLendon; brothers, William Aaron McLendon (Lisa Anne) and Brian Christopher McLendon; grandparents, Sandra Love Page "MiMi" and William Harley McLendon, Jr. "Papa Dub"; nieces, Jamisen Anne McLendon and Raegan Alaine McLendon; numerous aunts, a uncle, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday, July 1, 2022 at the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
