Pooler – Angie Cvetkovski Gimik, 49, passed away May 22, 2025 at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.

Angie's life began on December 9, 1975, in Lackawanna, New York.  She spent most of her life in Detroit and Dearborn Heights, Michigan, until three years ago when she and her husband, Kenneth Gimik, along with their children, Victoria and Joshua, moved to Pooler, Georgia.  Angie was a devoted family woman who cherished spending time with her family such as taking trips (Traverse City being one of her favorite destinations), gardening, having fun and sharing laughter with family and friends, camping, fishing and enjoying everyday moments with her husband and children which she treasured the most.  She celebrated 26 loving years of marriage with her husband, Kenneth Gimik on May 2nd who she met 33 years ago in Michigan.

Angie is lovingly remembered by the family she leaves behind, including her devoted husband, Kenneth Gimik; their children, Victoria Gimik and Joshua Gimik; her parents, Boris & Elena Cvetkovski; her sister, Petra Ilievski (Tom); her niece, Melissa Ilievski; and her nephew.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel, 2460 Hwy. 21 S., Rincon, GA 31326.

A Panakhida service will be 6 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025 at St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church, 1625 Fort Howard Road, Rincon, GA 31326.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2025 at St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church, 1625 Fort Howard Road, Rincon, GA 31326.

Entombment services will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2025 at Low Country Memorial Gardens, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC 29910.
