Ann Hearn Baker passed away Saturday after suffering from a long illness.

She was born to Helen Gnann and Richard Bernard Hearn, Sr. on January 19, 1945 in Savannah, Georgia.  She graduated from Savannah High School in 1963.  She married in 1964 and had two sons Christopher Thomas and Lee Bernard.  She worked as an executive assistant at Gulfstream until retiring in the 1990's.  She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church, attending St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Savannah and Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Ebenezer until her health declined.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bernard Baker, Jr., and her youngest son, Lee Bernard Baker.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Thomas Baker, grandson, James Lee Baker, brother, Richard Bernard Hearn, Jr. (Sherry), niece, Jennifer Hearn Lynch (Eric), their children, Helen Elizabeth and William Eric, and nephew, Richard Bernard Hearn, III, (Natasha), and their son, Richard Bernard, IV.

Graveside funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Jerusalem Lutheran Church Cemetery for her family and friends.
