Ms. Ann DeLoris Sharpe, formerly of Savannah, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Hospice Savannah.

She was born in Jesup, GA to the late George A. Sharpe and DeLoris Shaw Sharpe.  She moved to Savannah as a child and was a 1956 graduate of Savannah High School.  She retired from Hartford Insurance after 25 years of service.  Then, worked at Palmer & Cay for a number of years and retired.  She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, had sung in the choir and was a member of the Silver Nuggets for many years.  She was a resident of John Wesley Villas Assisted Living for several years before moving to the Oaks at Pooler where she had many friends.

Surviving is a first cousin, Dwight Swindell (Betty) of Pooler and other cousins.

The graveside funeral and burial will be at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery located at 1600 Wheaton Street in Savannah on Friday at 12 noon with Rev. Devin Bell officiating. Visitation and viewing will be at the cemetery from 11:30 until the funeral starts.
