Garden City-Mrs. Ann Hadden Williams, 81, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Candler Hospital.
Mrs. Ann was born in Metter to the late Claude & Lottie Hadden. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Wells and Madie Green, and brothers, Leon and Claude Hadden. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, a member of the Garden City Senior Citizens, a hairdresser for 40 years, former owner and operator of Garden City Beauty Salon for 10 years, and former owner of Ann's Country Corner.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Vickie Bland & Ernie of Savannah, Rick Edenfield & Sherri of Waco, TX, Renee Coleman & Dinkey of Guyton, Ray Williams & Liliana of Guyton, Rayette Guidotti & Jim of Rincon, and Reece Williams & Kelly of Black Creek; grandchildren, Ann, Skeeter, Jesse, Reece, Katie, Mandi, Ryan, Riley, Amber, Ridge, Colton, Allison, and LeAnna; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Simmons Hadden and Talmadge Hadden, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be on Monday from 6-8 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
The funeral will be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Central Baptist Church located at 4010 Old Louisville Road in Garden City. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
