Port Wentworth-Ms. Anne Eaton Barras Fearon passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Candler Hospital.
Ms. Anne was born on September 19, 1927 to the late Frank & Pearl Eaton in Port Wentworth, GA. She was a retiree of AT&T and a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth.
Survivors include her children, Angela Barras Brackett and Joette Barras Bazemore (Cordell); grandchildren, Traci B. Roach (Chuck), Skip Brackett (Amy), Dana B. Flood (Dan), Allen Bridgforth (Lisa), Brooke Bazemore Pike (Zack) and Lance Bazemore; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, John Eaton (JoAnne) and 16 nieces and nephews. Ms. Anne was preceded in death by her sister, Vera M. Mingledorff and by brothers, Frank and Howard Eaton.
The family gives a special thanks to the caregivers of Westview Nursing & Rehab, Candler O.R. Staff, Dr. J.T. Prather, 4th Floor nurses, Brad, Dorian, Deborah & Gregory and ICU nurse Charlene Brown.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth, located at 402 Pinehurst Place.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery on Wheaton Street.
