Ellabell-Mrs. Anne Parnell, 86, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mrs. Anne was born in Wilcox County to the late L. Dee & Ida Smith Clark. She was also preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Parnell, Jr., and a grandson, Christopher West. She loved bowling, watching the Atlanta Braves, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Michael Parnell, Margaret & Gene West, and Sandra & Mark Roberts; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Clark; sister, Naomi Force; several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be on Friday from 5 until 6 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 6:15 p.m. The entombment will be on Monday at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City.
