Savannah-Mrs. Annette Mitchell died on Friday, November 7, 2008 at St. Joseph's
Hospital.

Mrs. Mitchell was born in Bulloch County and was a loving mother and grandmother.
She helped start and was a faithful member of the Quacco Baptist Church and she was
employed with Bowie Jackson Tax Service for a number of years.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Darvin Mitchell of Savannah; children, Barry
& Lyrinda Mitchell, Melanie & Brad Knight and Holly deVegter, all of Richmond Hill; 7
grandchildren, Dustin and Garrett Mitchell, Devin and Ryan Knight, Jordan, Justin and
Jayden deVegter; sister, Betty Thorne of Savannah; brothers, Willard Phillips and Glenn
"Bee" Phillips, both of Bloomingdale and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road.
