Guyton-Mrs. Annie Bowers Douglas Lanier, 93, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Mrs. Annie was born in Metter to the late Lawrence & Maybell Bowers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lanier; two daughters, Annette BeeBe, and Joan Woo Royal; 3 brothers, and 4 sisters. She loved the Lord, spending time in her yard, fishing, sewing, and doing crafts.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn & John-L. Roberts, and Lois & Keary Aldrich; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
