Annie Maree Oglesby Harden

Rincon - Annie Maree Oglesby Harden went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the age of 93.

Maree was married to the late R.L. Harden, Jr. for almost 60 years. They loved camping and spending time with their family.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had a caring and giving heart and shared many of her handmade gifts with others.  Her hobbies included playing the piano, singing quilting, crocheting, sewing, and gardening.  She enjoyed preparing meals for family, friends, and neighbors.  She loved to worship the Lord with her church family and was a longtime member of Rincon United Methodist Church and the W.W. Oglesby Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, four sisters, and six brothers.

She is survived by sons, Danny Harden (Brenda), Ron Harden (Cherry); daughters, Brenda Claybrook (Jerry), Glenda Chitwood (Ray), Beverly Brown (Michael); sister, Martha Zeigler; brother, Morris Oglesby (Maxine); 11 grandchildren;   22 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Rincon United Methodist Church Friday, December 7, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the church.  Maree will be buried in the Rincon Cemetery.

Pallbearers include her grandsons: Les Harden, Kris Claybrook, Michael Chitwood, Cory Claybrook, Brandon Harden, David Brown, Derek Brown, Andrew Claybrook. Honorary pallbearers are the W.W. Oglesby Sunday School Class.

The family would like to thank the staff at Effingham Care Center for their compassionate care of Maree.
