Annie Mae Seckinger
Clyo- Mrs. Annie Mae Seckinger, 96, passed away on August 19, 2014 after a short illness at the Effingham Care Center in Springfield.
Mrs. Seckinger was preceded in death in August 2001 by her husband of 62 years, Lewis P. Seckinger.
She is survived by two sons, O'neal of Clyo, Denny and his wife, Unchu of Weaver, AL; five grandchildren, Elain Stanley and her husband Don of Hampton, SC, Charles Nix of Cottageville, SC, Wade Nix of Hampton, SC, Kelsi Baker and her husband Wesley of San Antonio, TX and Kyle Seckinger and his wife Heather of Anchorage, AK; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Seckinger was a lifelong resident of Effingham County, a housewife and homemaker and lived in her own home until her admission to the hospital on July 22, 2014. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Rincon.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 10 am in the funeral home chapel with the interment in Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 6-8 pm.
