April Elaine Campbell

Rocky Ford – April Elaine Campbell, 25, passed away May 16, 2018 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis.

April was born July 18, 1992 in Savannah. She was a graduate of Screven County High School in 2010 and a graduate of Ogeechee Technical College for Cosmetology and was employed at Studio B Salon in Sylvania.  April was engaged to be married this fall to the love of her life, Bryan Janney. She had an unwavering faith in the Lord with so much love and compassion for all whom she met.

April loved to travel from a very early age and was granted a wish to visit the Grand Canyon when she was 7 years old. In 2011, our family made a cross country trip which included all of the coast of California, Oregon and Yellow Stone National Park fulfilling a lifelong dream of April's. Although her life was short, April experienced so much and had such a strong will to live, in order to see as much as possible knowing each day was a precious gift. April truly lived each day as if it were her last and thusly was able to create lasting memories with her friends and family.

April enjoyed spending time with all of her family and friends and loved playing with her nephews and nieces, who will grow up with nothing but incredibly fond and loving memories of the time they spent with her.

She was preceded in death by her father Dale Campbell and grandmother Geneva Campbell.

Survivors include her mother Pamela Davis Campbell; sister, Katie (Nicholas) Guasto; nephew, Evan Guasto; niece, Gabriella Guasto; fiancé, Bryan Janney; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; best friends, Kate Morton and Erica Pollock.

Visitation will be 3p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Thomas Strickland & Sons Funeral home in Rincon.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
