Bloomingdale-Mr. Arlie L. Stephens, 91, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at
St. Joseph's Hospital.

Mr. Arlie was born in Kite, GA to the late Blakey & Maude Stephens. He was also
preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Stephens, daughter, Jeannette Stephens and his son,
Freddie Gene (Kirby) Stephens. He loved his church, South Newington Baptist Church
and enjoyed singing with his best friend, Ray Roberson. He retired from GA Pacific and
enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine & Willard Phillips of
Bloomingdale; grandchildren, Kelly & Tony Boyd, Terri & Daniel Thibodeaux and Hope
Seckinger; great-grandchildren, Kyle & Ashton Boyd, Maci & Logan Thibodeaux and
Baylee Seckinger; grandchildren, Lorrie Cannon, Ashley Gene Stephens and Justin R.
Stephens; great-grandchildren, Dillon & Dalton Cannon, Madelyn & Mikalen Stephens
and Justin Stephens, Jr.; sister, Geneva Hall, brother, Charles Stephens, brother, James
Stephens, sister, Evelyn Douglas and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at South Newington Baptist Church located at 453 John Carter
Road in Bloomingdale with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
