Obituary

Arnold Wallace Macy, 68, passed away on April 17, 2025, peacefully at home in Pooler, Georgia.  He was born November 21, 1956 in Youngstown, Ohio and was raised in the area.  He was a Navy veteran, dedicated 40+ years as a police officer, and U.S. Government services.  He enjoyed reading, learning, playing tennis, golfing, and history, but his first love was his wife and family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam Macy, Sr. and Lois F. Macy; a brother, Kenneth Macy; a sister, Dottie Leonard.  He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Annette F. Macy; step-children, Joseph M. Mitchum (Amy), and Kasondra R. Meeks (Bo), and four grandchildren, Maddison, Alyssa, Morgan, and Sara; brother, Adam Macy, Jr.; sisters, Tammy Partin and Sheri Gamble, as well as several nieces and nephews.  The visitation will be on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.  The funeral to honor Arnold's life will follow at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 8819 U.S. Highway 301 in Glennville, Georgia with military honors.  Thomas C.
