Obituary

Rincon – Arnold R. Reddick, Sr. 87, passed away April 5, 2024 at his residence.

The Screven County native retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years as a MSGT and from Norfolk Southern after 24 years.  He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and was an avid fan of Golf and fierce fan of "Gunsmoke".

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Geneva Bazemore Reddick; wife, Judy Margaret Saage Reddick;  granddaughter, Samantha Byrd; brothers, Edward Reddick and Michael Reddick.

Survivors include his children, Arnold R. Reddick, Jr. (Anne), Lloyd "Kenny" Reddick, and Margrit Byrd (Albert); grandchildren, Shannon Patrick (Jake), Dennis Reddick (Faye Beth), Bradford Reddick (Crissy), Joshua Reddick (Georgette), Danielle Howard (Jesse), and Rachel Byrd; great-grandchildren, Breeleigh, Bailey, Hailey, and Kailey Patrick, Hollis Kate and Thompson Reddick, Cayden and Hunter Reddick, Maverick and Ryder Reddick, and Savannah Howard; siblings, Ken Reddick, Peggy Exley, Donnie Reddick, and Judy Daring; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2024 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2024 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.

There will be a celebration of life dinner following the service at the Reddick home.
