Mr. Arnold O. Sims, age 80, of Pooler, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at his home after an extended illness.

He was born in Savannah to the late Mink & Anna Sims.  He attended Armstrong University, was a graduate of the University of Georgia and a member of Calvary Baptist Temple for many years.  He retired from Frances Meyer, Inc. and enjoyed watching UGA Football and the Atlanta Braves.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Ann Ford Sims; aunts, Betty Turner, Martha Leggett and Hulda Smith, and a number of cousins, including a special cousin, Ray Turner.

The graveside funeral and burial will be on Thursday, April 26 ^th at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located at 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah.
