Guyton – Arrie S. West, 86, passed away March 14, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The Screven County native was the daughter of James Sibley & Arrie W. Smith. She was a member of Port Wentworth United Methodist Church, where she had sang in the choir. Arrie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jennifer Barkley.

Survivors include her husband, David West; children, Gwen Peters, Greg Bates, Adrienne & Kevin Barkley, and David West; grandchildren, Josh Peters, James Bates, Aubri Lynn Bates, Garrett Bates, Kevin Joseph Barkley, Jr., Michael Barkley, and Linda West; sisters, Gwen Sturdivant and Alice Slater; 19 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Thursday, March 16, 2023 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 2 pm Friday, March 17, 2023 at Jackson Baptist Church

Burial: Jackson Baptist Church Cemetery.
