Bloomingdale - Mr. Arthur E. Thompson, 83, died Monday at his home. He was retired from Gulfstream as a Tooling Designer and enjoyed golf and bowling. He was preceded in death by his daughter Carol Thompson.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Thompson of Bloomingdale; daughter, Janet Gnann; and son, Robert Thompson both of Bloomingdale; grandchildren, Elizabeth Coffey of Florida, Jo Gnann of Springfield, Jimmy Thompson, Robert Thompson, Jr. and Lynn Thompson all of Bloomingdale; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Remembrances may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 919 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60611-1676.
