Audrey Jean Klingaman Duke, 79, went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer at her home in Bloomingdale, GA.  Audrey's family was always her first priority.  She attended St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Rincon, GA. with her best friend and sister-in-law, Lois Duke.

Audrey was born August 15, 1938 in Jackson, MI. to the late Howard and Blanche Klingaman.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Billy Donald Duke; a son, Michael Dale Duke; son-in-law, Joe Shaw; brother, Butch Klingaman; and sister, Sally Schlee.

Audrey is survived by her children, Larry and Wendy Duke, Robert Duke, Grady and Leigh Ann Duke, Angie Shaw, Donna Duke, Jennifer Duke, Christine Duke & Katherine Martinez; and 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Wenman and Ann Pope; in addition to a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.  The funeral with be on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Strickland and Son's Funeral Home West Chatham Chapel, celebrant, Fr. David Rose with Rev. Weymond Duke. The burial will follow at the Gravel Hill Cemetery, then the family will continue to receive friends at the Richard T. Turner Masonic Lodge #116 in Bloomingdale.
