Guyton- Audry J. Edwards, Sr., 84, passed away, Thursday, August 26, 2021 at his home.

The Effingham County native was a member of Guyton Christian Church and retired after 39 years with Stone Container. He served in the US Army National Guard in Springfield, but his love was farming. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Alan Hutcheson.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Jane Wilson Edwards; children, Sandra Hutcheson (Herbert), Nancy Edwards, Audry Edwards, Jr.; grandchildren, Travis Wiley, Amy Wilson, Shelby Edwards, and Harlee Edwards; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Wilson, Remi Edwards, and Gabe Britt; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5-7 pm Sunday, August 29, 2021in the funeral home.

Funeral: 1:30 pm Monday, August 30, 2021 in the funeral home chapel.
