Rincon – Barbara Ellen Bollinger Parker, 73, passed away February 24, 2024 in the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice surrounded by her loving family.

The Washington, DC native formerly worked at D.J. Powers, the City of Rincon, and Flint Equipment.  She enjoyed fishing, shopping, working in the yard, and collecting Gnomes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James L. Bollinger and Elizabeth Grace Ferrell Bollinger.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Parker; children, Joe Branson, Frank Branson and Missy Branson Monnin (Jeremy); step-children, Sophia Branson, Sherry Davis, and Jerry Daniel Parker (Trudy); grandchildren, Sebastian, Caleb, Destiney, Lexi, Kendall, Miah, Grace, Ashton, Weston, Vanessa, Dalton (Stacey), Taylor, and Harlynn; great-grandchildren, Jonah, Henry, Parker, Cashton, Tova, and Creed; sisters, Patricia Lee Thomas and Pamela Sue Mellick; brother, James Edward Bollinger (Janet Lee); several nieces and nephews; and a special sister, Becky Kerby (William).

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
