Rincon – Barbara Arnold Bryant, 56 died Monday, January 30, 2017 at her home after an extended illness. During her illness and death, she was surrounded by her family and friends. The Effingham County resident was a para-pro with South Effingham Elementary where she touched the lives of so many people through countless school activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John P. Arnold, daughter, Stacey M. Bryant, and brother-in-law, Mike Hyche.
Survivors are her loving husband of 37 years, Mathew N. Bryant, III; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and DJ Roberson, all of Rincon; Sisters and brothers-in-law: Elaine Hyche and Keith Tuten of Savannah; Rita and Jerry Faircloth of Richmond Hill; Brenda and Kenny Collins of Pembroke; Father/Mother-in-law: Mr. and Mrs. Mathew N. Bryant Jr. of Eden; Sisters and brothers-in-law: Nancy and Tony Petrea of Tybee Island; Jan Hagood, Annette and Joe Collins, and Pam Murry; nieces and nephews, Adam and Amy Faircloth of Brunswick; David and Misty Faircloth of Richmond Hill; John and Meredith Hyche of Savannah; Mason and Jessica Petrea of Savannah; Jamie; Jennifer; Veronica; Jessica; Crystal; Larry and many great nieces and nephews.
Barbara's family is extremely grateful and would like to give a special thanks to her second family, South Effingham Elementary School, and countless friends for their support and efforts since her illness began.
Visitation: 4-6 pm Friday, February 3, 2017 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 am Saturday, February 4, 2017 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
