Barbara Anne Jenkins

Barbara Anne Kangeter Jenkins, 73, of Guyton, Georgia passed away on July 3, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, Georgia after a brief illness. She was born on Oct. 28, 1944 in Bryan County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Martin Kangeter and Maude Futch Kangeter. In 1965, she married the love of her life, Harry Lee Jenkins, Sr. They moved to Guyton, GA and raised six boys. She enjoyed crafts, fishing, camping, and gardening but most of all she loved her family.

She was predeceased by her parents, her son, Joseph E. Jenkins, Sr., her sisters, Dereta Beckworth, Christine Jernigan, and her brothers, George W. Kangeter, Raymond Kangeter.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Harry Lee Jenkins, Sr.; Sons, Harry L. Jenkins, Jr. (Robin), Harry Lamar Jenkins, (Susie), Allen Jenkins, Brian Jenkins (Holly) and Jarrod Jenkins (Danielle), Jimmy Ballard, eighteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, Sisters: Sherley Walker, Peggy Hilliard (Dean), Brother: Thomas Kangeter (Wanda) and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Thursday, July 5, 2018 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 9:30 am Friday, July 6, 2018 in the funeral home chapel.

Burial: Marlow Cemetery
