Pooler-Mrs. Barbara Jean Lucas Potter, 64, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 at her home.
Barbara was born in Savannah to the late Thomas & Enola Lucas. She had previously been employed with the Savannah Women's Clinic, enjoyed going to the beach, and loved being with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, W. Larry Potter; children, David L. Gunnels, Jr., Tammy L. Shreve (Dennis), Dana P. Furmage (Sean), and Tony T. Gunnels; grandchildren, Daphne Gunnels, Gabrienne Mingledorff, Deanna L. Gunnels, Michelle Furmage, Landon Gunnels, and Logan Gunnels; brother, Danny Lucas (Judy); sister, Minnie Dubberly, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
