Barbara B. Reyes

Barbara B. Reyes, 62, entered into eternal rest to be with our heavenly father on July 10, 2015 at Memorial Health, she was surrounded by all her loving family.

The Plant City, FL native was employed by Air Liquide and Southern Gas Supply for many years. Barbara's life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by her understood the quality of her existence exceeded the quantity of time in which one lives. Her true passion in life was spending time with all of her grandchildren watching their school activities or any sport functions. She was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and the LSU Tigers . She thoroughly enjoyed casinos of all locations, and the foods and sweets when visiting her home state of New Orleans. Her infectious smile, talented cooking, funny sense of humor and her heart of gold brought so much joy and happiness to everyone she met. She will be loved and missed by everyone that knew her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Lester Blackburn and Olivine Williams, parents in-law Eugene Reyes Sr and Patricia Reyes and brother in-laws Floyd Ply and Ronnie Reyes

Survivors include her beloved husband of 45 years, Nicky Reyes; children, Gene Reyes (Nancy), Andrea Godwin (Donnie), and Craig Reyes (Brandi); grandchildren, Zachary Reyes, Brianna Reyes, Taylor Hardee, Josh VanderArk, Sidni Godwin, Anaston Kersey, Kaydence Reyes, Aiden Reyes, Caralina Wieczorek, and Piper Hill; sisters, Betty Ply and Sandy Blackburn; brothers, Robert Blackburn, Larry Blackburn, Dennis Sanders, Gary Sanders; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8pm Monday, July 13, 2015 in the funeral home

Funeral: 11am Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in the chapel

Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens
