Barbara "Bobbie" White, revered as a pillar of strength and bravery, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at St. Joseph's Hospital under the care of hospice. She resided in Pooler, Georgia.
Bobbie was born to the late Agnes McCumbee Terrell and Lealon D. Terrell on October 2, 1944 in Glennville, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Leon Oliver White. She was also preceded in death by sister, Doris McCullough, and four brothers, Theron Terrell, Jack Terrell, Lucian Terrell, and Shady Terrell.
Among her most significant accomplishments was raising her five children along side the love of her life. She is survived by 4 daughters, Tonya McCann (Charlie), Tina Williams, Traci White, Tiffany Peacock (Dan) and one son, Chris Futch (Misty); 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Reginald Terrell, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her legacy is one of unyielding kindness and love that will live on for generations to come.
The visitation will be on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. The funeral to honor Bobbie's life will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Westside Memorial Gardens. Dan Peacock will be officiating. The pallbearers will be Levi Williams, Ryan White, Devin Stefanski, Dru Futch, Carter Futch, and Dylan Gregory.
