Port Wentworth-Mrs. Barbara Perry Williams, 75, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Westview Nursing Home.
Mrs. Barbara was born in Sterling, GA to the late George W. & Pauline Perry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Williams and a brother, Emory Perry. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth where she was also a former secretary. She retired from the Chatham County Board of Education. She was a Hospice volunteer and a member of the Savannah Lions Club for many years. She was also a member of the L.A.M.O.P.H.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Jane W. & Alan Moore, Lynn W. & Steve Mobley, Jim & Valarie Williams and Kim W. & Lee Cook; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, George L. "Dazy" & Debbie Perry; sister, Celina P. Brown and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth.
Memorial Service: 7 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth.
