Barney Ross Kemp
Rincon- Barney Ross Kemp, 72, died July 6, 2015 at his residence.
The Swainsboro native was a retired Master Sergeant with the US Air Force after 20 years of service and a retired mechanic for Gulfstream Aerospace. Barney was preceded in death by his parents, A.C. and Jewell Kemp and his sister, Shirley Coleman. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Guyton.
Survivors include his wife, Florine Kemp; sister, Carolyn Clifton (Dan); stepchildren, Stephanie Smith, Charles E. Ussery, James Ray Ussery, and Brooks D. Ussery; his caregivers, Wanda Davis and Becky Manross; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Thursday, July 9, 2015 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 12 Noon Friday, July 10, 2015 in the chapel.
Interment: Springfield Cemetery Annex
