Statesboro-Mr. Barry Edwin Smith, 39, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2010 at St.
Joseph's Hospital.

Barry was born in Savannah and lived most of his life in Bulloch County. He was
preceded in death by his father, Edwin O. Smith. Barry was a member of Brooklet First
Baptist Church where he played the drums in the praise band. Barry loved spending time
with his daughters. He was employed with Gulfstream.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer L. Edwards Smith, daughters, Hannah Grace Smith
and Haleigh Faith Smith, all of Statesboro; mother, Gail Smith of Brooklet; grandmother,
Myrtice W. Smith of Brooklet and a number of other family members.

The visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the funeral home.

The funeral to honor Barry's life will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2010 in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Brad Blackmon and Rev. Alfred Banks officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road.
